EIT Higher Education Initiative’s Call for Proposals
The EIT Higher Education Initiative Call for Proposals 2025 is open until 4 March 2026 (17:00 CET), offering up to €2 million per project to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in European higher education. Eligible consortia must be led by HEIs with business, research and public partners. Projects can focus on strengthening STEM innovation capacity or deepening ties between European Universities and the EIT ecosystem.

Climathon 2026
The Climathon 2026 Open Call invites organisations to become official Climathon Organisers by 31 March 2026 23:00 CET. Selected organisers plan local 12–48-hour events where participants co-create climate solutions. Applicants can be cities, NGOs, universities, SMEs or hubs. Organisers receive training, branding materials, networking access and support from the Climate-KIC Community. Events should align with Global Climathon Days (12–18 October 2026).

Clean Cities Spain ClimAccelerator 2026
The Clean Cities Spain ClimAccelerator 2026 open call invites start-ups developing clean solutions for urban climate challenges to apply by 23 March 2026 00:00 CET. The programme, delivered by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with Climate-KIC support, targets innovations in mobility, waste, energy and health to help cities become climate neutral. Benefits include acceleration support, ecosystem access and scaling opportunities.

EIT Urban Mobility
Flagship Accelerator Open Call 2026
The EIT Urban Mobility Flagship Accelerator Open Call 2026 invites experienced organisations to propose and manage a comprehensive accelerator programme for early-stage urban mobility startups. The selected consortium will scout, select and support ventures with blended finance to boost success. Applications open 10 Dec 2025 and close 10 Feb 2026 (17:00 CET), with projects starting around April/May 2026.

Strategic Innovation Open Call
The EIT Urban Mobility Strategic Innovation Open Call supports collaborative projects that accelerate deployment of impactful solutions for urgent urban mobility challenges. Focus areas include urban logistics, public transport, mobility data, electrification and health-mobility. Consortia must include at least two independent entities from different EU/associated countries. Up to €2 million per project is available with 65% funding. Multiple cut-offs run until 2028.

Financial Support to Startups Open Call
The EIT Urban Mobility Financial Support to Startups Open Call 3 offers up to €2.5 million per startup developing breakthrough urban mobility solutions. It targets pre-seed to Series A ventures in areas like urban logistics, shared mobility, data management, electrification and health mobility. Multiple 2026 cut-offs include 23 Feb, 18 May, 31 Aug and 16 Nov. Eligible applicants must be in an active funding round, EU/Horizon Europe associated.

RAPTOR Open Call 2026
The RAPTOR Open Call 2026 (Rapid Applications for Transport) invites single SMEs to address one of 15 city-defined urban mobility challenges with innovative solutions. Selected startups/SMEs receive a €60,000 lump sum to develop and pilot their solution over six months. Applications open 16 January 2026 and close 12 March 2026 (17:00 CET). Eligible entities must be SMEs in EU or Horizon Europe-associated countries.

Startup Ecosystem Agents Open Call 2026-2028
The Startup Ecosystem Agents Open Call 2026-2028 seeks experienced ecosystem players to act as strategic partners and local contact points in key European startup ecosystems. Selected agents will support urban mobility startups, strengthen cross-border collaborations, increase EIT Urban Mobility’s reach, and foster partnerships and investment opportunities. Applications are open until 23 March 2026.

Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) Open Call
The Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) Open Call 2 invites organisations and experts to develop and deliver high-quality, sustainable professional training and support services that close the urban mobility knowledge gap. Proposals must align with EIT Urban Mobility’s Academy strategy and can be individual or multi-partner. Funding ranges €2–4 million total, with up to €700,000 per proposal. Eligible entities are from EU/Horizon Europe associated countries.
