NCP4Industry is pleased to publish the document No.3 on the mapping of opportunities and industry-led topics with SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) integration for the 2025 industry topics.
The report builds on insights from the event “Bridging Research and Industry through Social Sciences and Humanities in Horizon Europe” (22 May 2025), which brought together researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers to explore opportunities for integrating SSH perspectives into industry-driven research, innovation, and digital transformation.
It summarises key insights, challenges, and good practices for SSH integration, alongside showcased Horizon Europe projects such as SHARESPACE, BRIDGES 5.0, and MAGICIAN. These examples highlight the added value of SSH in areas like hybrid human–AI interaction, workforce transformation for Industry 5.0, and human-centred robotics.
