The European Research Executive Agency (REA), in collaboration with the European Commission's DG RTD, is organizing the event “Research Fund for Coal and Steel: Big Tickets Call 2025 Info Day” on February 19, 2025, in Brussels and online.
The Info Day represents a unique opportunity to explore the 2025 funding opportunities offered by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) and to assist potential applicants in submitting high-quality proposals. The event will provide detailed information on the RFCS objectives, application procedures, and evaluation process.
During the day, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Attend informational sessions on funding opportunities and RFCS objectives.
- Obtain the most up-to-date information on the proposal submission and evaluation process.
- Participate in one-on-one sessions with REA.B1 staff (project officers, legal officers, and financial officers) to receive support on specific issues related to proposal preparation. Advance booking for these sessions is mandatory.
- Engage in networking moments to foster synergies within the coal and steel research communities, particularly in the development of innovative technologies needed to contribute to the goals of the European Green Deal, as well as to exchange project ideas and find consortium partners.
