The Commission is organizing a workshop on “Efficient, Lightweight, Sustainable Advanced Materials - Supporting EU industries to meet the Green Deal targets” which will take place on the 6th of June in Brussels, Belgium.
The workshop will address the topics of “Recycling of lightweight composite materials”, “Development of new bio-composites for enhanced circularity” and “Joining of dissimilar materials through novel additive manufacturing techniques”. The aim of the event is to initiate a dialogue between the research community, industry and policy makers on the current research investments, valorisation of research output, and to acquire the EU industry’s perspective on needs for future research investments in the field of Lightweighting. It will be of interest to materials suppliers, manufacturers, end users and researchers in the marine, automotive, aeronautics, rail, wind energy and construction industries in Europe.
Online participation is encouraged as the maximum capacity in the room has almost been reached.
