EIT Manufacturing ASBL ceased operations as of 10 April 2026
After more than five years of building the largest pan-European manufacturing innovation network, EIT Manufacturing ASBL officially ceased operations on 10 April 2026. The organisation thanked its employees, partners and startups for supporting its mission focused on sustainable manufacturing. It also highlighted that the network, know-how and collaborations created over the years will continue moving forward. Regional offices in Vienna, Milan, San Sebastián and Gothenburg remain active.

EIT Raw Materials
KAVA Call 14 – Upscaling
EIT RawMaterials has launched the KAVA Call 14 – Upscaling focused on supporting innovative technologies in raw materials, recycling, advanced materials and circular economy solutions. The call supports projects from TRL5 to TRL8 with funding ranging from €500,000 to over €2.5 million. Projects can last up to 2.5 years and should target commercialisation and market entry.

KAVA Call 14 – RIS Innovation
EIT RawMaterials opened the Call for RIS Innovation Projects focused on strengthening innovation capacity in RIS countries through raw materials, recycling, advanced materials and circular economy solutions. The programme supports collaborative innovation projects with two submission cut-off dates: 24 June 2026 and 16 October 2026. Applicants can receive support for market-oriented and innovation-driven activities across the raw materials value chain.

EIT Urban Mobility
Strategic Innovation Open Call
EIT Urban Mobility opened the Strategic Innovation Open Call focused on accelerating market-ready mobility solutions across Europe. The programme supports high-impact projects in areas such as urban logistics, electrification, public transport, mobility data and sustainable city transport. Selected projects can receive funding for innovation activities aimed at deployment, scaling and commercialisation within European urban mobility ecosystems.

EIT EdTech Conference Open Call
EIT Urban Mobility launched the EIT EdTech Conference Open Call focused on selecting one organisation or consortium to design and deliver the EIT EdTech Conference in 2027 and 2028. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between education, innovation and public stakeholders while supporting Europe’s digital education and EdTech ecosystem. The selected project will receive up to €600,000 in EIT funding.

Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) Open Call
EIT Urban Mobility launched the Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) Open Call focused on supporting high-quality training, education and professional learning services in sustainable urban mobility. The initiative aims to strengthen the skills of mobility professionals, cities and organisations while supporting scalable and financially sustainable learning programmes. Selected proposals can receive up to €700,000 in funding, with a total call budget between €2–4 million.
